Local - Farm markets showcase many of the wonderful fruits, vegetables, and meats raised locally within the Virginia/West Virginia area. Enjoy tomatoes picked the morning they’re used; crisp onions, radishes and cucumber making a salad come alive; or the freshest grass-fed beef and lamb raised and treated humanely. 


Organic - When appropriate and available, organic ingredients are used. Organic foods have a hight nutrient content are not treated with harmful chemicals.


Meet Chef Sandy


Sandy Amato is a graduate of L’Academie de Cuisine in

 Maryland, having taken a full complement of culinary courses.


Since entering the culinary field in 1995, Sandy has worked in restaurants and catering establishments, and taught group and community cooking classes. She is currently enjoying cooking for private clients, giving private and group classes, and providing small group catering.


Sandy's teaching focuses on good skill development, so that her students feel confident when cooking any type of cuisine. Her classes are always informative, fun, and full of useful tips and tricks of the trade.
